We’re always looking back over our previously published content and evaluating whether it needs updating. We do this once a quarter. We will update product information, brand information, and certain terminology to make sure every published post is as accurate as it can be.

Step 2: residual brand vetting

On a quarterly basis, we will do a comprehensive review of the brands we have showcased on our platform to make sure they still comply with our policies. Brands change all the time, so we need to be on top of that.

Step 3: listening to feedback

The customer is always right, as they say. If we receive credible reader feedback about our website, platform or editorial decisions, we promise to always take it seriously and fully evaluate our practices. If we decide that any of our content needs updating or changing on the basis of such feedback, we will do it.

We cite external experts when needed

We’re fully aware of our strengths and where we need to defer to outside expert opinion. Our content producers are seasoned professionals with years of experience, but there are areas where we admit we are not an authoritative body.

For example, we do not claim to have any professional experience within the medical field. None of us are healthcare experts, and so we will never recommend any product or brand that is marketed as a medical solution to a certain issue or condition.
